JewWatch.com updates - Nazi mirror site

Gary Price, who runs The ResourceShelf tipped me that the first result for the words Jew Watch is now a JewWatch.com mirror. (easy come, easy go, for that top slot ...).

This is actually extremely interesting from a Google-analysis aspect, as though the page is on an existing Neo-Nazi site, it's a new page. The site, http://www.nazi-lauck-nsdapao.com/, currently proclaims

"The educational web-site http://www.jewwatch.com is under attack by the enemies of free speech. Free speech activist Gerhard Lauck is trying to help them. An (at least partial) mirror web-site has been established at http://www.jewwatch.info and at http://www.nazi-lauck-nsdapao.com/jew-watch/index.htm

[note: Neo-Nazis apparently have an inferior webmaster-race, since making a full mirror is not difficult these days.]

So, we have the following critical point: The first-place rank of that mirror page for a seach for the words Jew Watch, cannot be caused at the moment by any links. It exists solely because of search engine optimization factors (which do include the freshness of a page).

FYI FWIW: I can concur from first hand experience that the web page was unavailable last week since I happened to look up this interesting oddity/situation a few times myself, so I also seriousely doubt that Google black-listed this, as they correctly should not do so.

BTW, take a look at the sponsored link on the right when you type in "Jew Watch" - in case it goes away, what it is right now is a box from Google itself pointing to there explanation page. They seem to have handled this VERY well IMHO - taking a position of neutrality, but also providing easy access to their explanation of that position.

First there was infamous "jewwatch" scandal. When Steve Weinstock entered search term "Jew" on Google, the world's leading search engine, the blatantly anti-Semitic web-site http://www.jewwatch.info appeared as the very first listing!

Mr. Weinstock launched a campaign - at http://www.removejewwatch.com - to remove that site from the top spot. He succeeded! But the site soon regained the first position before again losing it. So it appears to be an ongoing battle.

Now the anti-Semites have widened their attack. Google's #1 listing for "Rabbi Jokes" shows the neo-nazi site http://www.nazi-lauck-nsdapao.com . It even has cartoon animations of leading Jewish figures in addition to holocaust denial books and the infamous nazi film “The Eternal Jew”.

Anti-racist activists are urged to cut-and-paste this announcement and insert it into forums.

I AM AGAINST ALL NAZI SITES. THEY SHOULD ALL BE BANNED! I POST ON THEM ONLY TO GATHER INFORMATION!
